Tuscia is the area of Etruscan domination in the province of Viterbo, located in central Italy in the extreme upper Lazio. A hilly area of volcanic origin on the border with Umbria and Tuscany regions. Even today it remains mostly an uncontaminated area rich in woodlands.
Surrounded by the beauty of ancient towns and sounds of nature you will start a regenerative path that will help you to reconnect with your deepest essence.
Accommodation & Transport
Departing from Rome, along the way, you will have the opportunity to explore the area of Tuscia viterbese. You will stay in a charming farmhouse surrounded by nature, simple accommodation with no frills where you can relax and disconnect from the daily routine.
Accompanied by a local guide you will visit Tuscania, one of the most picturesque villages of Tuscia characterized by the ancient traces of the Etruscan civilization and medieval architecture. You will walk through the streets of the old town among ancient churches, baroque fountains and Etruscan remains. You will discover the ancient art of pottery up close.
You will spend a relaxing day pampered by thermal waters coming from one of the largest basins in Italy, that of the Viterbo area. Special treatments will be available on request.
You will visit the wonderful Palazzo Farnese and surrounded by the majesty of its frescoes you will awaken your curiosity and fill your eyes with beauty.
Moving to the highest part of Tuscia, in another farmhouse, you will be able to start a sensory journey inside a wood, to reconnect your inner self with the four elements: water, air, fire, earth.
You will spend a day inside a highly experienced winery, you will participate in the olive harvest and observe the pressing process. You will learn how a monovarietal EVO oil is produced and then taste three different oils. A three-course lunch will be served at the winery.
Before departure we cannot forget a visit to the most famous village of Civita di Bagnoregio, also known as “the dying city”. You will be enchanted by its position overlooking the Calanchi Valley.
Last day at the farmhouse to relax before your departure to Rome.
